This scene really works because it’s quite a romantic SM scenario, unlike so much of the stuff that’s made these days… The Japanese studio Cinemagic was quite good at this in the mid-late 80s...
i liked the attempt to blend flogging with sex as sex....and as it should be. trouble is, that when the flogger doesn't even drop his pants, the attempt loses any validity and beomes just another stage production...a great pity. it could have been much better.
